OVERVIEW-
There are a number of helpful books on lacrosse, coaching lacrosse, coaching in general, and youth sports in general. Shelburne Lacrosse owns several books for use by Shelburne coaches.  You may borrow them from Pierson Library in Shelburne.  Below is a list of books owned by Shelburne Lacrosse and additional books if you choose to get one of your own.

Coaching Youth Lacrosse by the American Sport Education Program
The book covers coaching in general, coaching girls youth, and coaching boys youth. It includes a number of drills.

Double Goal Coach by Jim Thompson
The book is written by the founder of the Positive Coaching Alliance and spells out the principles of positive coaching.  It has many stories and helpful tips on how to put positive coaching into practice.

The book covers fundamentals of youth lacrosse for boys and girls.

This book has numerous drills etc. for boys and girls.

Lacrosse- Fundamentals for Winning (Sports Illustrated)  by David Urick
The book covers many aspects of the game of lacrosse.  A more advanced book geared more towards high school and college.
