UNITED STATES LACROSSE (USL) COACHING CERTIFICATION
OVERVIEW- United States Lacrosse (USL) offers Level 1 and Level 2 Coaching Certification courses for both Men and Women. The certification courses include components from both US Lacrosse and the Positive Coaching Alliance. The Northern Vermont Youth Lacrosse League (both boys and girls) require at least one coach from a town's boys program and girls program to be Level 1 Certified. Because of the certification requirement and because the Shelburne Recreation Department wants to support continued education for lacrosse coaches, the Shelburne Recreation Department will pay for the cost of Level 1 Certification. Contact Recreation Department Director Betsy Cieplicki if you wish to pursue US Lacrosse Level 1 Certification. Below are the steps to get Level 1 Certification.
